Service Agreement
Last updated 15 October 2026
This agreement is between Wituk Works LLC, a Kansas company doing business as Dormant Mapping ("we"), and the person or company that orders from us ("you"). You accept it when you place an order and pay on our website. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
1. What we make
For each floor plan you order, we make an interactive 3D model that people can turn and explore, and email you:
- the embed code that puts the 3D model on your website,
- four images of it, and
- one short video of it turning.
You can add your floor plan to your website two ways: the interactive embed, which works while your hosting is paid, or the video file, which is yours to post.
2. Previews
Sometimes we offer a free preview of one layout before you order. A preview carries a watermark and stays ours. Please don't publish it. You don't owe anything for a preview.
3. Price and payment
Prices are on our website: floor plans are $249 each for 1 to 3, $199.99 each for 4 to 9, and $165.99 each for 10 or more, plus hosting (section 5), with $50 off your first order. You pay in full when you order: the floor plans and your first year of hosting, in one payment on our website through Stripe (card or US bank account). We start building once the payment goes through. We deliver within 3 business days after your payment goes through.
4. Built to match your plan
Every model is built to match the floor plan you sent, and we review each one before it's delivered. We don't make revisions. A different plan (a new layout, a moved wall) is a new floor plan order. If we can't build it from your plan, you get a full refund.
5. Hosting
Hosting keeps your models working on your website. It's $3.99 per floor plan per year. The first year is included in each order, and each order's hosting renews on its own yearly date.
Hosting renews automatically every year, charged to the payment method you ordered with, at the same rate unless we tell you about a change at least 30 days before your renewal. We email you before each renewal.
You can cancel anytime by replying to any of our emails or writing to hello@dormantmapping.com. Hosting then stays on until the end of the year you've paid for; that year isn't refunded.
If hosting ends, or a renewal isn't paid within 30 days, your viewers show a short "paused" note instead of the model. After 90 days we may remove them, and bringing them back may cost a new build.
6. The Dormant icon
Each viewer, each of the four images and the video show a small Dormant icon. In the viewer, tapping it opens information about Dormant and a link to our site. The icon can't be removed.
7. View counts
We may count how many times your floor plans are viewed and show you those counts. We don't identify the people viewing them.
8. Your floor plans
You confirm that you own the floor plans you send us, or have permission to use them this way. If someone else claims a plan you sent was theirs, you'll be responsible for that claim and will cover our reasonable costs from it.
9. Who owns what
We keep all rights to the 3D models, the viewer and how we make them. While your hosting is paid, we give you a license to show the interactive models on your own website and your own listings for that property. The four images and the video are yours to use in your own listings and marketing for that property, on your website or anywhere else, with no time limit, even after your hosting ends. You may not copy, download, resell, take apart or rebuild the models, or let anyone else use them. Your floor plans stay yours. We show your models in our own portfolio only with your OK.
10. Concepts, not measurements
The models are concepts made from your drawings. Sizes, shapes, finishes and furniture are approximate. They aren't for construction, legal or measurement use, and you shouldn't promise exact sizes to renters or buyers based on them.
11. Refunds
If we can't build it from your plan, you get a full refund, including its hosting. Once a floor plan is delivered, it isn't refundable, and a hosting year that has started isn't refunded.
12. Limits
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility under this agreement is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and neither of us is responsible for lost profits or indirect losses.
13. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, and any dispute goes to the courts of Douglas County, Kansas.
