Dormant Mapping turns floor plans into interactive 3D models that property owners show on their own websites. It is run by Wituk Works LLC, a Kansas company ("we", "us"). By using dormantmapping.com or sending us a request, you agree to these terms.

Who this is for

Businesses and people who own, manage or market a property, and who are at least 18. If you use Dormant Mapping for a company, you're agreeing for that company and telling us you're allowed to.

Ordering

You order through our request form: you send your floor plans, then pay through Stripe. The details you give us should be true and yours to give. We use them to build your order and talk to you about it. If we can't take the job, we tell you and refund you in full.

Your floor plans

By sending us a floor plan, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it this way, and you let us copy and work from it to make your 3D models and to support them afterward. We don't publish your drawings themselves. If someone tells us a plan you sent isn't yours to share, we may stop work on it and ask you about it.

Orders, prices and payment

Prices are shown on our website, and the price at checkout is the price you pay. You pay in full when you order, and each order includes the first year of hosting for its floor plans. Hosting then renews automatically every year until you cancel; we email you before each renewal, and you can cancel anytime by replying to any of our emails. If hosting lapses, your 3D floor plans show a short "paused" note instead. If we can't build it from your plan, you get a full refund. Once delivered, floor plans aren't refundable. Every order is covered by our Service Agreement, which says what's included, hosting, and what happens if hosting isn't paid. Payment goes through Stripe; they handle your card or bank details, and we never see them.

Our 3D models

We keep the rights to the 3D models, the viewer and everything we make. While your hosting is paid, you may show the interactive models on your own website and your own listings for that property. The images and video we send you are yours to use in your own listings and marketing for that property, with no time limit, even after hosting ends, as the Service Agreement says. Please don't copy, download, resell, take apart or rebuild the models or the viewer, or put them on someone else's website.

Concepts, not measurements

Our models are illustrations made from the drawings you send. Sizes, shapes, finishes and furniture are approximate. Don't rely on them for construction, legal descriptions, measurements or promises to renters and buyers about exact sizes.

Text messages

We text you only if you gave us your number and ticked "Text me updates about my floor plans" on the request form: updates about your request and order, from Dormant Mapping's number. No ads. How often varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, HELP for help, or email hello@dormantmapping.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy says what we keep about your number.

Things not to do

Don't use the site or the viewer to break the law, send us someone else's plans without permission, overload or attack the site, or scrape or copy our work.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the site and the viewers running, but we can't promise they will always be up or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Dormant Mapping is provided "as is", and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. We aren't responsible for lost profits or indirect losses.

Someone using your work

If something shown through Dormant Mapping uses your work without permission, email hello@dormantmapping.com with what it is, where it appears, and how to reach you, and we'll look into it right away.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Orders already paid keep the terms they were made under.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, and any dispute goes to the courts of Douglas County, Kansas.
