Privacy Policy

Dormant Mapping is run by Wituk Works LLC, a Kansas company. This page says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.
When you send a request
Our request form asks for your first and last name, email, company or property name, how many floor plans you have, and the floor plans themselves (PDF or picture files). You can also add a phone number, your website and a note. We save these, plus:
- that you agreed to our Terms, when, and which version;
- if you ticked the text message box, the exact words beside it and when you ticked it;
- a scrambled code made from your internet address, used only to stop the form being flooded. We never store the address itself, and the code can't be turned back into it.
We use all of this only to build your models, bill you, and talk to you about your order. When your payment goes through, we email you a confirmation and email ourselves a copy so we can reply.
Your floor plans
Your files are stored privately. Nobody can open them without a link we create, and those links stop working after 7 days. Only we use them, to make your models.
Text messages
The box beside the phone field is unticked unless you tick it. It says: "Text me updates about my floor plans. Dormant Mapping (Wituk Works LLC). Order updates only, never ads. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop."
If you tick it, we text you from Dormant Mapping's number about your order: that we got it, questions about your plans, and when your floor plans go live. No ads. How often varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help. Once you reply STOP, we don't text that number again unless you text START.
We keep your number, that you agreed, when, the exact words you agreed to, and whether you replied STOP. We never sell or share your phone number or your agreement to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing. Twilio sends the texts for us and uses your number only to deliver them.
Paying
Payments go through Stripe. Stripe keeps your card or bank details so your yearly hosting can renew until you cancel; we never see them. We keep what you were charged, when, whether your hosting is active, and Stripe's reference numbers for the payment, the hosting and you as a customer.
People who view your 3D floor plans
When your models are on your website, we count how many times each one is opened: one number per floor plan, which we may show you. That's all we keep. We don't use cookies, and we don't record anything about the people viewing them (no addresses, devices or locations). The small Dormant icon in the viewer only opens information about Dormant when someone taps it.
This website
dormantmapping.com has no ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics. Our host keeps standard server logs (like internet address and time of a visit) for a short time to keep the site running and safe.
Who else touches this data
A few services run parts of Dormant Mapping for us: Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores requests and files, Resend sends our email, Google holds our email inbox, Cloudflare runs our domain and forwards our email, Twilio sends texts, and Stripe takes payments. Each uses your data only to provide its service to us. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and files while we work with you and for as long as your floor plans are hosted, then for up to 2 years for our records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
Email hello@dormantmapping.com to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We'll answer within 30 days. Deleting your information can't undo an order already paid, and we keep billing records the law requires.
Children
Dormant Mapping is a business service for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves.
